Fundamental Movements (age 2)

This is a 30 minute class that will focus on developing a child's early motor and coordination skills.  They will be taught basic movements like how to hop, skip, and slide and learn basic choreography to basic sonag and dance.  We will also include basic tumbling to help increase flexibility and strength.  This class runs from September through April when the students will perform in a small recital.  Some parent participation may be needed in the beginning of the year.

KinderClass (ages 3 &4)

KinderClass is a one hour combination class that will begin with tap and progress to either pre-ballet or pre-jazz and end with beginner tumbling and co-ordination skills.

Note:  these are both great introductory classes for young children to learn basic forms of dance and tumbling.  While focus is on increasing basic motor skills, we will also be enhancing self-esteem for all children along with teaching social skills needed in all aspects of life.

PreClasses (ages 5&6)

Pre-Ballet, Pre-Jazz, Pre-Tumbling, and Pre Tap are 45 minute classes that teach the basic beginner skills needed to advance into each subject smoothly as they get older.  Each class will begin with beginner bar work to help teach discipline and progress to across the floor combinations for more individual attention and center floor choreography to enhance rhythm and memory skills.  Many group activities are done to help enhance communication and social skills among classmates.
